Aqua Floris Hydrosol

Hydrosols are  fragrant, water-based products that are typically the  byproduct of the distillation process used to extract essential oils. They retain the essence of the plant and contain various beneficial compounds that make them an excellent addition to any skincare routine.

Their aromas are often soft and subtle when compared to their essential oil counterpart. These aromatic products usually have a scent similar to their essential oil, but also can have a greener note. The water soluble constituents in the plant material that are not present in the essential oil are what gives these hydrosols and earthier aroma.

Our hydrosols are made specifically distilled for their use as hydrosols so the essence that is captured is not just a mere by-product.  This makes sure that the product has the maximum potency for a hydrosol.

You can use our hydrosol mists as a toner, skin refresher, and a setting spray.  We recommend using our Hydrosol Mist prior to the application of Oleum Cuti Bakuchiol Serum for best absorption.

Aqua Floris is Latin for Floral Water.  The combination of Organic Bulgarian Rose and Organic Green Tea Hydrosol brings pore tightening, hydrating, cleansing, anti-inflammatory, and pH balancing benefits to your skin.  Green tea is highly anti-inflammatory. It contains a high amount of polyphenols, the key to the ongoing combat against the signs of aging. Rose is also known for its anti-inflammatory properties. It can soothe irritated skin, reduce redness, and calm conditions such as rosacea and eczema.
