Oleum Cuti Bakuchiol Serum

Oleum Cuti, Latin for Skin Oil.  Bakuchiol is the star of this serum with the maximum potency of 3% used.  Bakuchiol is considered a natural alternative to retinol because it functions similarly in a skin care regimen. However, it is not considered a retinoid or a part of the retinol family because it has a different chemical structure than that of retinol. Therefore, Bakuchiol offers many of the same skin care benefits as retinol without causing irritation or dryness. Bakuchiol is also believed to be gentle enough for daytime and nighttime wear and is suitable for use on all skin types.

Serum Ingredients:

Organic Rosehip Oil: The retinoids in rosehip oil can help brighten your skin, prevent blackheads, and reduce inflammation. Rosehip oil also contains linoleic acid, a fatty acid that can aid acne prevention and shrink pimples.

Organic Pumpkin Seed Oil: Increases firmness. The natural nutrients in pumpkin seeds, particularly zinc and vitamin C, help firm and tighten.

Organic Vegetable (Coconut derived) Glycerin: It is hygroscopic, which means it attracts water and holds it to the skin like a magnet, keeping it well hydrated.

Organic Moroccan Argan Oil (Vit. E): it helps to reduce the visibility of hyperpigmentation and acne scars. It has vitamin E that hinders production of melanin and boosts cell regeneration.
